Big Ten

Big 10 was formed in 2000 by Jason (vocals) and Andy Perriss (now playing guitar for Neville Staple, formerly of The Specials) playing as a Ska/two-tone tribute band, and have gone on to be one of Cambridgeshire's most successful and sought-after bands, notching up a total of over 500 gigs since they started.

Initially a ten piece playing the music of Madness, Bad Manners and The Specials etc. in small pubs and clubs, they soon gained notoriety and a huge following in the local area. They went on to playing larger clubs, private parties, scooter rallies and festivals in the UK and Europe.

The band has also made several appearances as a support act for legendary ska artists such as Bad Manners, The Beat and Toots and the Maytals to name a few.

A member of the band Chris Bull (Trumpet) also currently tours full time with 80s ska revivalists Bad Manners.

Big 10 are renowned for their lively performances and stomping gigs with a party atmosphere. With a tight rhythm section, three singers and a dynamic three piece brass section, Big 10 are definitely one of the most exciting live acts in the local area.

Indie Soc's Rebellious Jukebox
IndieSoc present a night of indie eclecticism (no, that's not an oxymoron).  Expect tunes careering from The Fall's post punk idiosyncrasy via The Chalets pure pop, the swagger of The Stone Roses and the electro-flirting of CSS.  Bring your discerning ears and your dancing feet.
