Upcdowncleftcrightcabcandstart are a mainly Instrumental rock/pop band from Kent who have been going since early 2000. They signed to Indie label Tap n Tin records in late 2004 and on February 14th 2005, released their first double AA 7" single "Stand shadowless like silence/Sadako's fury". Their live sound has been described as "Brutal and loud, yet melodic and almost orchestral" Upcdownc's sonic explosion feels massive in any venue.

Casino Royale has been packing the Barfly since 1998... Upstairs, the DJs

play classic guitar cuts from the 70s 'til NOW, joining the musical dots

between the Stones, Smiths & Strokes. Downstairs, it's a riot of only 60s

garage, northern soul, psychedelia (& even rock) from clued-up residents &

specially-picked guests. Host Victor de Milo presents the club's "Monte

Carlo-style" Roulette table at which everyone gets a free chance to win

drinks! Time Out has called Casino Royale "clubland royalty" and Hot Tickets

said: "One of the most enjoyable nights... fills the [Barfly] with a bright,

fun-loving crowd studded with an unusual selection of celebs".
