Steve Carlson

Born and raised in Southern California, Carlson had a bohemian upbringing in an artistic family. He developed an appreciation for music early on and at the age of ten he began writing songs, playing guitar and eventually found himself performing in local bands throughout high school. Upon graduation, Steve traveled quite a bit until he fell in love with Hawaii where he lived for over two years. It was there that he honed his songwriting and began playing the mandolin and steel guitar.

Currently residing in Hollywood, Steve has had several original songs placed in film and television projects including "Kinda Crazy These Days" placed in the ABC show "Men In Trees", "Night Time" placed in the WB's "Supernatural" last year. One track on the album, "Now That My Love Is Gone", has been placed in the upcoming film, "Be My Baby". Other films in which Steve's had song placement include "Just Married", "Life Or Something Like It", “Memore”, etc

Carlson's new album "Groovin On the Inside" promises to awe and inspire listeners, combining elements of rock, funk, R & B stylings and as expected - poignant and gripping ballads, with which Carlson's fans have come to love and expect. "Groovin' on the Inside" is Carlson's first, full-length collaboration with Music Producer and friend, Darren Sher. When music industry's favorite mixer, Jeff Juliano was brought in to mix each song for the album, all the ingredients fell into place, ensuring an exciting and passionate record that will undoubtedly become an instant classic.

The Pocket Gods
The Pocket Gods are the eccentric Mark C Lee, and the seemingly angelic Annelise Moeke. They both sing and play guitar and write songs about, sex, froots and curry but not necessarily in that order! They have recently been joined by bassist Claire and drummer Nigel! The band are influenced by drunken parties, Jumble sales and numinous home-made Absinthe. They were unearthed by the late, great John Peel and have been played on Radio 1, XFM, Talksport, BBC Radio and many others worldwide. Their aim for 2007 is to spread love and froot and conquer heaven and earth. Radio 1s Huw Stephens who played a couple of tracks recently on his One Music show said of their latest demo VVBUD: Out of all the dirge this demo stood out by a million miles, Genius! Following on from this they have been voted Gods of the Pod by Radio 1 listeners and have a song out on Cherryade Records indie crimbo compilation "A Very Cherry Xmas Vol.2"They originally got together in the summer of 2004 when they recorded the Green Fairy tales albums which where inspired by the late 19thC French artists and poets and their drunken, debauched and absinthe soaked lives. Since then, they have done many acoustic gigs in London and have also done live radio sessions for the BBC.
