Hadouken! are one of Britain's most forward thinking and dynamic bands and bring their genre-hopping dance punk to London!

Hadouken! take the gold medal for carnage ... You'd hesitate to call Hadouken! frontman a singer, you'd also be reluctant to class him as a rapper but as ("nasty") samples flitter and near grime style drum n bass batter the lobes, Hadouken! don't half know how to make a racket. Tunes of the calibre of 'Dance Lesson', 'Tuning In' and 'That Boy. That Girl' sound superb at close vicinity and as crowd surfers sail overhead. Leedsmusicscene.net

'...a hardcore, PA-decimating, Oi-punk, chav-hop, day glo riot soon-to-be-know-to-everyone as HADOUKEN!' The Fly

Mobius Band
Live Nation presents

Mobius Band

+ Red Light Company

Doors - 7:30 PM

/

Tickets - £7.50

Peter Sax, Noam Schatz, and Ben Sterling are Mobius Band. Their new album is called Heaven (due out on Misra October 2nd 2007).

The group started in earnest when they moved together to a small rural town in Western Massachusetts called Shutesbury (pop 1,800). Cradled in the Pioneer Valley and bracketed by college kids and semi-retired alternative rock stars, Mobius Band woodshedded for several years, rarely venturing out of New England until 2004, when Ben and Peter moved to Brooklyn’s quiet Carroll Gardens neighborhood.

There, the group picked up momentum, releasing their debut album, The Loving Sound of Static (Ghostly 2005) and embarking on a non-stop touring regimen, notching over 150 shows, including tours with neighborhood confederates The National and trans-Atlantic friends like Editors and Tom Vek. What at first seems like a mixed bag of associates (noir indie rock; junk-shop electronica) actually provides a rough triangulation of what Mobius Band is about—pop hooks grounded in experimentation, subtle musicianship, and a taste for ruminative lyrics.

ALBUM LAUNCH PARTY AT THE ENTERPRISE
One of the most visionary artists in Scotland, Iain Petrie has spent the past year recording his debut album I'll Stay By You, which is due for release on 7 April on Fourtrak Records. His unique brand of pop has been described as "organic Celtic soul".
Drawing from folk, soul, jazz and 60's pop, Iain Petrie has a unique style that defy's definition. With infectious melodies and colourful arrangements the songs are spiritual, romantic and uplifting. As described by Metro, 'If John Martyn and James Taylor were in The Beatles, it might have sounded like this.'
To bring the songs alive, Iain has brought together some of the finest musicians in Scotland. Evolved over the last year into a dynamic and highly energetic 4 piece, the band effortlessly express the soul of the song.
Capitalising on recently winning the prestigous Stringjam Club Musician Of The Year, Iain says, 'This is a time of very fast growth for the band. We are at the very forefront of the kind of pop music that has depth, meaning and long lasting and broad appeal'.
With uplifting melodies, quirky arrangements and a beautifully haunting voice, Iain is attracting a lot of interest and capturing the hearts of many fans.
Support on the night is provided by good friend and all round troubadour Rob Howell.
