Revolver are Ambroise Willaume (vocals, guitar, piano) and Jeremie Arcache (cello, vocals). They met at France’s prestigious Maitrise Notre Dame de Paris music school. The pair later teamed up with Christophe Musset (vocals, guitar) to form the basis for their current band, REVOLVER. While their name is taken from the influential Beatles album, it’s a fitting description for the group’s evolving sound. Pairing classical chamber music with influences such as Elliot Smith and The Velvet Underground might seem like a particularly daunting task, until you hear the masterful way they pull these influences together. Don’t miss their lovely harmony laden, cello infused indie pop for the band’s first headline show in London.

We Were Evergreen are an alternative indie-electro-pop band from Paris. Brought together by a shared fondness for all kinds of pop music and nursery rhymes, they tell stories of small trees growing too fast, of yodelling yaks and children flying south for the winter: stories of adolescence, of things lost, then found –then lost again. There's a naïve freshness to their toy-like instruments, and their mellow-yet-uplifting choruses will inevitably get caught in your brain – just throw in some live sampling, a lot of percussions and a dash of electro, and you'll find your hands and feet joining in too.

Singtank are a sister-brother duo from France. The sister writes the lyrics; the brother composes the tunes. The French duo’s sound sparkles like some of the greatest musical partnerships. Nellee Hooper (Massive Attack, Björk, U2, Madonna) and Alan O’Connell (Placebo, Gossip) are two of the band’s idols and have now produced their album, due to be released in early 2012.
