Since their inception in the Summer of 2005 The Slowdance have played all around the UK, supporting scene heroes such as The Draft (Epitaph) and Walter Schriefels (of Gorilla Biscuits/Rival Schools), as well as playing with the cream of the UK's punk and hardcore scene, such as Milloy (Household Name), The Plight (Visible Noise), The Cut Ups, Attack! Vipers!, The Don Ramos Players and The Computers. Their debut EP 'Rapture and Ruin' is already making waves underground, and is due for national release in April 2008. Their blend of melodic punk-rock and hardcore is like no other in the current musical climate, and with such an extensive live history for a band in its infancy, The Slowdance's live show needs to be seen to be believed.
