Barfly

In 2006, five friends realised they all had the same passion for writing and playing music. Fresh out of college their summer holiday needed a purpose, so they all decided to get a practise room together. Working hard and putting all their influences into one pot, boyswithxrayeyes soon became a band, finding their style and genre in every note and beat they played. Playing a few local shows, the tearing riffs, hard hitting drums and intense vocals grabbed people's attention immediatly. This soon led to being featured in Metal Hammer's upcoming section. Most of 2007 was spent in the studio, with twelve songs under their belt recording an album came sooner than expected. After all five members spent the week recording in the bassment of a pub (hot box studio) in Abertillery, South Wales, Kris and Dario flew over to sunny Seattle to finish editing and vocals. Getting back into the Welsh scene in late 2007 boyswithxrayeyes kicked back off with their album launch show selling out the Cardiff Barfly. Being recently voted the third best unsigned band in Kerrang! gave the band a great end to 2007.

Basically if it's hot we're gonna play it. Aiming to bring you the stuff you want to hear whilst gently spattering you with the cheese that just cannot be forgotten.
