Cardiff born and bred "Here Lies The Enemy" formed in late 2005 while still in school, since then the four piece have grown together as a band as well as friends. With the whole band practically related they work together strongly and have yet to come across any problems. From a young age they had a few gigs under their belts gaining confidence and now pride themselves on their live shows.
While their sound is within the Screamo/Alternative group, it has matured over the years of being together.They bring a range of influences together to form a sound of their own, making the effort to stand out from the crowd. Mixing catchy choruses, brutal breakdowns and times to get your hands clapping there will always be a time to be moving. They try to project themselves to a wider group of people by writing songs that they enjoy playing and not sticking to the path of a single sound.
Now being older and having many more gigs under their ever growing belts, their live performances have become even more energetic and have had the pleasure of playing with well known local bands and the list is still growing to bigger and more known bands. They took part in a battle of the bands at their local Barfly to compete for the headline slot of the "Under Construction Festival" and came first in a landslide with over 50% of the votes just for themselves.
Since recording with Todd Cambell at SKWAD HQ studios their tracks have been getting an amazing reception from locals aswell as others from other parts of the world and are deffinitely going to be recording there again soon for their demo.
So there you have it, as of yet anyway, if they're ever near a town near you or within travelling distance you will not be dissapointed by their live shows and you most deffinitely have a mental surge to just go crazy.
