'This could be the world's biggest new band' Angus Batey, The Guardian

Alex Vargas (vocals) Stephen Carter (guitar), Luke Fitton (guitar), Sam Odiwe (bass) and Karl Penney (drums) are Vagabond: the first release on Geffen records (Universal) with their debut album out in August.“We were a band before we even knew it” says guitarist Luke Fitton. “It's luck I guess, being in the right place at the right time. Just so happens we found each other in a studio in Kent.”
With roots in Uruguay, Denmark, East London and Huddersfield, we should be grateful for this twist of fate. Fronted by the irrepressible Alex Vargas and with a soulful, bluesy pop sound unlike anything else around. Vagabond are the soulful, pop/rock band the world didn't even know it was waiting for. ‘In Alex Vargas they've got a frontman who just happens to have one of the most impressive white soul voices since Mick Hucknall, Steve Winwood and Robert Palmer.’ Paul Lester – Guardian Online
Vagabond's debut single single, 'I Don't Wanna Run No More', is out on 3rd Aug followed by the album, 'You Don't Know the Half of it', on 17th August.  ‘They sound huge this band. (‘Don’t Wanna Run No More’) is a massive song’
Jo Whiley – Radio 1.

Already globe-trotting, they recently returned from San Francisco and Northern California where they shot the video for ‘I Don't Wanna Run No More' with the director Paul Minor (Muse, Editors).
The touring schedule has been hectic in the last few months; supporting James Morrison, The Script, The Saturdays and McFly, they are also doing their own headline show all around the UK in August as well as playing Glastonbury, V Festival and T in the Park.

‘Very brilliant indeed and could end up being the sound of independent radio until the end of time itself.’ Peter Robinson – Popjustice

‘The epic, Verve-like ‘I Don’t Wanna Run No More’, and the electro-propelled ‘I’ve Been Wanting You’ sound like huge future hits.’ Dan Cairns – Sunday Times
