Liverpool’s Yousef began Circus in September 2002 with Richard McGinnis from Chibuku. Originally supposed to be based monthly at Liverpool's Cream - after working on the idea since March 2002, the club's subsequent closure meant that Yousef had to take his 'circus' elsewhere, this he did and found a new home that couldn't be more perfect for a circus: The Masque, an old, disused Theatre in his hometown of Liverpool.

Yousef: 'The concept of Circus is simple: serious house music and fun times - booking DJs and acts that have, and will, inspire me.' This simple ethos remains true to this day and now, having just celebrated the 6th birthday party, Circus continues to be one of leading club sessions in the UK and beyond.

It’s hard to quantify what makes Chibuku so good. These days it becomes almost futile to list the brace of names who have played at the club because yes, there are so many of them but also that, for the very few privileged clubs that exist as Chibuku does in the UK, the quality of the guest DJs, the live acts and the residents is now never in question - but also to say that, crucially, Chibuku continues to draw in the very best players and acts from around the world and closer to home.

And eight years on since its inception, where some clubs get a bit flabby and die of heat exhaustion and run our of ideas, Chibuku has recently been put in the top 50 clubs in the WORLD, as voted by the DJs who have played there, published in DJ Mag, and in Top Ten best UK clubs in Mixmag’s 2006 awards.

WarehOuse is Liverpool's freshest night and the concept is slightly different from the norm. Many clubs will claim to offer something for everyone. Well, so do we, but here at WarehOuse we try our damndest to mean it!

WarehOuse is all about the atmosphere - we aim to recreate the warehouse party spirit of the 90's and move away from the stale vibe found in most clubs these days. Warehouse is not a club... IT'S A PARTY!!
