Charlotte was a working rock guitarist even before she left her West London high school. Working towards her A levels during the day, the 15-year old was playing loud, scungy gigs round the London club scene with the proto-riot girl group, Nightnurse.
Aged 17, Charlotte joined Northern Irish rockers Ash, her guitars adding beef to their heavy schedule of live performances. She had two weeks in a rehearsal studio before making her Ash debut at the V97 Festival in front of an audience of 50,000!
Dot Alison Originally a founder band member of One Dove back in 91 Dot released one LP with her band, 'Morning Dove White' a Weatherall-produced post-club classic album. She signed to Heavenly records releasing her critically acclaimed debut solo LP, Afterglow in 1999. She worked with Mani from the Stone Roses, Kevin Shields, Arab strap and Hal David among others on Afterglow's classic-pop beauty.
After touring internationally for a year or so she settled back into the studio to write 'We are Science', her Dave Fridmann/Keith Tenniswood/self-produced secong solo LP which was released in 2002... Since then she has guested with Massive Attack on two of their world tours having written a few songs with them along the way. She then performed on the 'Bilo Albion' acoustic tour co-headlining with Peter Doherty on several songs they had written together. She then joined his band 'The Babyshambles' for their 'Stone me what a life..' tour in 2004, again singing all her collaborations with Mr Doherty and dueting with him and playing glockenspiel on several Libertines' songs.
