Joel Gion of The Brian Jonestown Massacre & charismatic star of the sundance festival award winning documentary DIG! brings his new band The Dilettantes into London for the grand finale of what will be a legendary first UK tour. Combining a multi-layered psychedelic sound with swaggering 60s garage rock, The Dilettantes music reflects many of the qualities and influences that have helped to earn the BJM such a cult following, while managing to emerge as a credible force in their own right. Artist program in Hollywood. That same year the band hit the road touring the UK and Europe while songs from the self-released debut album hit radio nationwide as well as throughout the world. With the songs “Losing Control” and “Stolen Hymns” hitting many Weekly top 10s, sky parade emerged onto the underground scene gaining favor with both fans and music critics alike. In Januray of 2006, the band began work on its 2nd full length album LOVE IS FOREVER.. which debuted as a Top 10 Album on the KKBB Radio Charts) with the album's 1st single, "I Feel Surreal", debuting at Number 5 on the FMQB Submodern Singles Charts. “I Feel Surreal” remained in the Top 10 three weeks in a row.
